Dear Friends and Partners,
I am delighted to announce the Grace and Faith 2025 UK Conference in late May, during the school holidays. It will still be in the Birmingham area this year, close to our West Midlands office in Walsall, but in the new venue. We will be moving to the Bethel Convention Centre in West Bromwich. Besides this news, we have some announcements on the special speakers.
Mike and Carrie Pickett, who are our Executive Vice Presidents of AWM and Charis Bible Colleges, will be the main speakers this year, taking my place. Duane Sheriff will be ministering too. He had a powerful ministry last year in Birmingham and we know he will bless you again this year. Our Ministry Ambassador, Wendell Parr will be the keynote speaker at CBC Graduation during the event. Johan and Brenda Toet founded the One in Him Foundation that organizes mission trips to Brazil and build a mission house where they train and disciple fellow believers.
As all previous years, Charlie and Jill LeBlanc will be leading the worship once again and helping us in praising the Lord. They have been serving the Lord in music ministry for over 40 years. With more than 100 songs recorded on over 20 CDs distributed worldwide, they are seasoned singers and songwriters. Charlie & Jill have been coming to the UK since the 1980s.
I will not be attending the conference this year. Some of you know that we have just launched our Global Gospel Truth Network satellite television channel (GTN) which has taken off. I am now recording and teaching up to sixty-six times per month and I am not able to take time out of my TV schedule to attend. I know you will be blessed by all the guest speakers, many of whom have accompanied me over the years and being instrumental in the growth of the ministry globally and in the UK and Europe.
We have been holding Grace and Faith conferences in England since the eighties with only a small break in recent years. We have seen many lives changed, which are priceless and are one of the reasons we come every year. One changed life is far more valuable than the necessary costs to make the conferences happen. We know the Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price by coming to this earth and giving His life for ours. The salvation He provides is free, but the venues we use are not free.
For many years before, we had lost money at these conferences and spent the rest of the year trying to catch up financially. In the last decade, our partners have taken to underwriting the expenses of the conference, even before it starts. This has allowed us to cover the total expenses and not negatively decrease any of our other outreaches. There are several deposits totalling tens of thousands of pounds required to be paid before the event, and then there are all the expenses of the conference itself. We could not do this without you and your generous support.
So, as before, I am asking you to consider helping in advance so we can continue the calling the Lord gave me to take this good news gospel to the UK. You have been so faithful in the past and I cannot thank you and the Lord enough for all you have done. The job is not complete. We need to reach farther and deeper than ever before.
